Bill Donovan
Bill Donovan is a painter and draftsman who lives in New York. He is one of the founding members of Paintallica. In 2004-05 Bill spent a year in Afghanistan with the National Guard as a machine gunner in the turrets of HMMWV vehicles, and was awarded the Combat Infantryman’s Badge. Bill’s drawings cover a wide range of subject matter, from meticulously drawn portraits to eerily developed cartoon characters to life drawings, and often include text and stories.
