I made this header for my other blog, http://www.inkstainedhands.com/, by taking a photo I made of a beautiful grafitied doorway in Manhattan, rotating it sideways, bluring it, and then sticking a little hardedged photo in the middle. This uses the principle of depth of field to suggest that the object with hard edges is in front of the areas with soft edges.
